I’m an author and editor of books for young readers and adults. I earned my degrees from Harvard, Oxford, Indiana University, and most recently a Master of Fine Arts in Fiction and Poetry from the Whidbey Writers Workshop. My favorite contemporary authors, such as Edwidge Danticat, Marilyn Nelson, Jane Hirschfield, and Wendell Berry, often illuminate hidden stories. As an editor and writing coach, I help people explore the depth of their own stories in a mindful way.
